Payment Options:
We accept Personal Checks, Money Orders, Visa/Mastercard/Discover/AMEX via PayPal.
Payment is expected within 3 calendar days after Invoice is received
Charge card and PayPal purchases are shipped within 3 business days.
Check purchases must clear, delaying shipping up to 15 business days.
Orders mailed, must be received within 7 calendar days otherwise items will be made available to other Buyers.
You must notify CJC if payment will be mailed in within 3 days of receiving Invoice.
Shipment in the Continental United States
All cookie jars shipped to the lower 48 states are sent by ground via Private Carrier. Insurance valued up to the cost of the item is included with each order. As soon as the product has been shipped to you, you will receive an email notifying you your item(s) have shipped and the tracking number.
Please contact us if you need an alternate shipping method.
Shipment to Alaska and Hawaii
Shipping charges for items sent to Alaska and Hawaii are sent by the "best" shipping option, Private Carrier or USPS. Shipping and handling will be determined on an individual basis in order to be cost effective. Once your order is placed, we will contact you with any modifications in shipping charges, should they occur.
Since we ship via Private Carrier, please no P.O. Boxes
Shipment to Canada and International
We will gladly consider shipping to Canada and International destinations.
Canada - "Best" shipping option: items will be shipped via UPS. As required by UPS, contents will be listed, full value, invoice will be included showing cost, shipping, insurance, reason for export will be sale and any other requirements will be complied with.
If you choose "Cheapest" shipping option: item will be shipped vis USPS-Airmail, custom forms will show as gift and valued at 1/2 the cost. Once shipped, you will be notified and we will no longer be responsible for the item or its condition. Please read Waiver.
Other International shipments will be considered. Please read information on Canadian shipments as this will apply to you.
How much is shipping/handling?
Shipping cost is determined by locality, weight, dimensions and insurance of each item. This charge will increase pending each factor. Shipping is a per item charge.
Small items (salt and pepper shakers are $3.95) and large, collector cookie jars can run up to $75.00. These costs will be clearly shown on your invoice.
What Shipping Options do you Offer?
We offer 2 shipping options, Best and Cheapest.
"Best" is via UPS with tracking and insurance. The dollar figure that appears during check-out may not be the actual costs. In most situations this cost is less and will be reflected on the Invoice.
"Cheapest" or "Ship at Your Own Risk" is the cheapest method available, within reason. We will not ship something parcel post if Priority is a close second in cost. For full explanations see: Waiver.
Can you overnight a package to me?
YES. We will offer express service, next day air or 2nd day. Please contact us for rate.
When will I get my package?
Please allow up to 5 business days (Monday through Friday, we aim for 2 days) for us to download, charge, verify and ship your order. Shipping time begins then and speed depends on the Private Carrier. Ground usually takes 3-5 business days. So an order placed on Sunday should be processed and shipped by Wednesday and would likely arrive early the following week.
I ordered a week ago and my package has not arrived yet. Your site says 3-5 business days, so i was just wondering when I will get it. Thanks!
Our site says items "Usually Ships within 5 Business days" which means we will ship it up to 5 business days after we receive your order. Shipping time begins then and depends on the Private Carrier. If you have any concerns, please contact us. There may have been an email / computer error or shipping problem. We would rather have you email us then be worried and wondering! I need a tracking number. How can I get it?
When your order ships, a shipping confirmation email is sent with containing your tracking number. If for some reason you have not received your shipping confirmation email, please write to orders@CookieJarCollection.com for assistance.
I placed an order but would like to cancel....can I ??
Yes, as long as we haven't already shipped it. To cancel an order please e-mail orders@CookieJarCollection.com
Do you require a signature upon delivery?
The decision to require a signature or not is left up to the individual Driver. If he/she deems their is no safe "drop off" location for the package, a signature tag will be left. We generally only require it when orders are over $200.00.
Breakage:
We are experienced packers and shippers, however breakage occasionally occurs. In the event you receive something that is damaged, you must retain the original shipping carton. Call us and we will have the package picked up, there will be no charge to you. We will make the claim and a refund will be issued.
All items which are shipped via "BEST" shipping option will follow this policy. If an item is received in a damaged condition, please contact us immediately at Orders@cookiejarcollection.com. Please keep the damaged item and all the original packing materials for inspection in order that we can file a claim for reimbursement. We will contact you with information regarding the shipment and keep you aprised of the claim. Monies will not be refunded until the claim has been processed and paid by the carrier.
Returns:
We value your business and your satisfaction but all items are sold in "As Is" condition. Prior to making a purchase please inquire about damage, markings or other items related the condition and authenticity of the jar. In many cases we do have other pictures available to show you or we will take specific ones. No retuns or refunds will be granted on orders fulfilled without requests. Returns/Refunds must be initiated within 48 hours of delivery only on items in the condition as sent. Items returned must be shipped fully insured and safely packaged, at your expense. You must notify us within that 48 hours from delivery, so that we will know to expect the package. When the item arrives in the same condition as it was originally sent, a prompt refund will be issued minus shipping and restocking fee. |
